Using Mahj IRL
Mahj IRL gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and cards you can access for personal play. You may not copy, extract, publish, resell, sublicense, or distribute protected card content except through sharing features Mahj IRL provides.
Purchases and restores
Paid digital cards are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system. Prices and availability shown by the App Store control. A non-consumable card purchase is intended to unlock that card permanently for the purchasing App Store account, subject to App Store availability, compatible devices and software, and these terms.
Use Restore Purchases in the app to recover eligible purchases with the same App Store account. Apple handles billing, refunds, and payment disputes under its policies.
Trials
When a card offers a free trial, Mahj IRL shows the duration and what becomes unavailable afterward before the trial starts. Trials do not renew and do not automatically turn into a paid purchase. Starting a trial does not authorize an automatic charge.
Shared links
A shared link helps another person find the same card in Mahj IRL. It does not transfer a card license, purchase, trial, or ownership. Each recipient's access is checked independently.
Card content
Card descriptions, sample hands, and availability may change as errors are corrected or cards are updated. Mahj IRL does not promise that every card, publisher, or version will remain available forever. If a correction materially affects a purchased card, we will use reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate update or support path.
Responsible use
Do not misuse the website, attempt to bypass purchase or trial controls, interfere with the service, probe for other users' information, or use automated systems to extract protected content.
Availability and warranties
We work to keep Mahj IRL accurate and available, but the app and website are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent allowed by law. Mahjong is a social game with regional and table variations; the app is a playing aid, not an official ruling for every table.
Apple's terms
Apple is not a party to these website terms. Use of the iOS app is also governed by Apple's applicable App Store terms and Standard End User License Agreement. These terms supplement rather than replace those Apple terms unless a valid custom license agreement is adopted later.

We may update these terms as Mahj IRL changes. The effective date shows the current version. Questions can be sent to support@mahj-irl.com.
